Kátya Pujals Chamma

Kátya Pujals Chamma was born on the 19^th August 1961; she is a Brazilian songwriter, singer, poet, writer, and also a cultural producer in the country.

Kátya Pujals Chamma was born in the city of Brasilia from the generation of the first Brasilia’s artist. She performed in the main theatres, shows and events of the country.

 She was the producer of the daily TV program of the country called Capital Destaque, a talk show that she idealized and presented by herself, having special approach for the areas of the culture f the country in the 1900s.

She made a special appearance in the show of the country that belongs to Roberto Menescal and Wanda Sá, in Brasilia in the year 2000. In the year 2005, Kátya Pujals Chamma published the book called Dança de Espelhos, which is made up of poems, chronicles, essays and haicais.

In the year 2010, she introduced to the stages of the city of Brasilia the 1^st part of her project called Project Gallera Rock, which is a project that has the intention of disseminating the art and the music scene of the country, promoting the bands and the shows of the young artist of the country via the concerts, festivals and the shows.

She took part in the CD compilation known as News From Brazil that was released by the music label Sonarts. That same year, she took to the stages of the city of Brasilia the 2^nd edition of the project she called Project Gallera Rock and in the same year, Kátya Pujals Chamma moved to the Academy of Letters of Taguatinga.

The thirst edition of the project was celebrated in the year 2012. She took part in the Collection Letristas em Cena, which was arranged by the Clube Caiubi de Compositores in August of the year 2013. In September of the year 2013, Kátya Pujals Chammatook part in the CD compilation A Nova MPB, vol.1, and she also took part in the CD compilation A Nova MPB, vol.2 in November of the same year. In December of the year 2013, Kátya Pujals Chamma took to the stages of the city the 4^th edition of her project.
