Karl Markovics

Karl Markovics was born on the 29^th August 1963; he is an Austrian actor and a film director.

Karl Markovics played his first play as Sorowitsch in Stefan Ruzowitzky's movie called The Counterfeiters in the year 2007, and the movie was given the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film for the year. He appeared in the Austrian acclaimed black comedy Komm, süßer Tod in the year 2001 and in the police drama TV series called Inspector Rex. In the year 2012, Karl Markovics also played a role as Ferdinand aus der Fünten in the Dutch film of the year 2012 called Süskind.
