Johanna Niese known with the name Hansi Niese was born on the 10th
November 1875 in the city of vienna; she died on the 4th April 1934.
She was an Austrian actress. She was a self taught artist and one of the most
bpopular actresses of the Monarchy.

Life
Hansi Niese appeared in the South Moravian town of Znojmo at the local
theatre at the age of 18 in the year 1891.
Her success story started started in the year 1893 at the Vienna Raimund
Theatre, and it was there that she appeared in the series for the total of 6
years as a soubrette.
In ther year 1899, Hansi Niese moved to the theatre
an der Josefstadt, soon after that, she got married to the director of the
theatre called Josef Jarno.
