Johann Beer

Johann Beer was born on the 28^th February 1655; he died on the 6^th August 1700. He was an Austrian author, a court official and a composer.

Johann Beer was born in Austria to the family of a protestant. He entered the service Augustus, Duke of Saxe-Weissenfels as a countertenor in the year 1676.

He died in the year 1700 at the age of 45 from a hunting accident.
