Jaro Fürth was born with the name Edwin Fürth-Jaro into a Jewish family
in Prague. He initially studied law and started his acting profession under the
tutelage of Alexander Rompler before he took a stage role in Scandinavia,
playing roles that were created by Henrik Ibsen. In the year 1905, Jaro Fürth moved
to the city of Vienna and it was there that he got an engagement at the Deutschen
Volkstheater.
