Henriqueta Lisboa

Henriqueta Lisboa was born in the year 1901; she died in the year 1985. She was a Brazilian writer. Henriqueta Lisboa was given the award of the Prêmio Machado de Assis for her lifetime achievements by the Academy of Letters of the country.

Henriqueta Lisboa is known more in the country for her carefully selected word to create influential poems.  The early lyrics of Henriqueta Lisboa tackle the traditional poetic themes and her later works magnifies the effect of a single image.
