Gustav Diessl

Gustav Diessl was born on the 30^th December 1899; he died on the 20^th March 1948. He was an Austrian artist and a film and stage actor.

Biography

Gustav Diessl was born Gustav Karl Balthasar in the city of Vienna. In the year 1916, Gustav Diessl was an extra on various stages in the city of Vienna, though soon was recruited into the army of the country at the time of the World War I, at the time of his military service, he was held a prisoner for a year.

After the war, he started training as a stage designer, though he left to chase a professional career in the movie industry of the country. Meanwhile, Gustav Diessl played for the touring company of the country and in the year 1921, he got his first role at the Neue Wiener Buhne. That same year, he made his debut in the movie of the country.

He appeared in a large number of movies in the country, often in the romantic movies, comedies and others.

After his first Marriage ended, Gustav lived with the actress of the country called Camilla Horn for many years. After that, he got married for the second time in the year 1938 to Soprano Maria Cebotari.

Diessl Gustav died in the year 1948 following double stroke.
