an Austrian stage and film actor. He casted often at the time of the silent and
early sound periods of the country.

Fritz Spira played the role of Austrian
Emperor Franz Josef in the 1926 film called The Third Squadron. He has been working inGermany before the the
takeover by the Nazi in the year 1933 that forced him to leave the country
because of the Jewish background. He moved to Poland at first and went back to
his native country Austria.
Fritz Spira was married to Lotte Spira from the year 1905 to the year
1934 and was the father of the actresses of the country called Camilla Spira
and Steffie Spira.
Fritz Spira died in the year 1943 at the Ruma
Concentration Camp in Vojvodina.
