Erika Pluhar

Erika Pluhar was born on the 28^th February 1939 in the city of Vienna.

She is the daughter of Anna and Dr Josef Pluhar. One of her sisters, Ingeborg G. Pluhar, is a painter and sculptor. When she completed her school in the year 1957, she studied at the Max Reinhardt Seminar, the Viennese academy of music and the academy of music and the performing art, which was the place she graduated with distinction in the year 1959.

Erika Pluhar quickly moved into acting troupe from the year 1959 to the year 1999. At the starting part of the 1970s, Erika Pluhar engaged in singing career. She has been writing books since she was a kid; her first book was published in the year 1981.

Erika Pluhar has been married twice; the first was with Udo Proksch, businessman and convict of the murder of six people in the country, and André Heller, who is a poet and all-rounder artist.
