Carl Esmond

Carl Esmond was born on the 14^th June 1902; he died on the 4^th December 2004. He was an Austrian stage actor born in the city of Vienna, Austria. His birth name was Willy Eichberger and he changed it to Charles Esmond and finally he changed it to Carl Esmond. He was very active in the in the Viennese genre of shallow romantic comedies so popular in the country of the interwar period. Like many other actors, he left Germany to England after the German takeover in the year 1938. He appeared in more than 50 movies of the country and many TV programs of the country.
