Attila Hörbiger

Attila Hörbiger was born the 21^st April 1896; he died on the 27^th April 1987. He was an Austrian stage and movie actor.

Attila Hörbiger was born in the city of Budapest, the Austro-Hungary; he was the son of engineer Hanns Hörbiger and the younger brother of the actor of the country called Paul Hörbiger. He started his stage profession in the year 1919; he performed at the Raimund Theatre in the city of Vienna in the year 1921; from the year 1928, Attila Hörbiger was a member of the Theater in der Josefstadt ensemble under Max Reinhardt. From the year 1950, Attila Hörbiger was a member of the Burgtheatre. From the year 1935 to the year 1937, and again from the year 1947 to the year 1951, he took the title role in the performances of Hofmannsthal's Jedermann at the Salzburg Festival.

Attila Hörbiger appeared in theatre plays of the country until the year 1985. Two years after he stopped performing, he died in the city of Vienna at the age of 91 of stroke. He was buried at the Grinzing Cemetery.
