Affonso Schmidt was born in the city of
Cubatão in Sao Paulo. Together with the legendary
figures of the anarchist movment in the country: Edgard Leuenroth and
Oreste Ristori, he was the founder of
the newspaper of the country called A Plebe and A Lanterna.
He was also the founder of the newspaper called A Voz do Povo that
later became the press organ of the workers of Brazil.
