Norah Lange was born on the 23rd October 1905; he died on the
5th August 1972. She was an argentine author, linked with the Avant
garde of Buenos Aires of the 1920s and 1930s.

She was also a member of the Florida group that consisted
of figures like OliverioGirondo,
whom she got married to in the year 1943 and Jorge Luis Borges.
Her ultra-modernist
poetry influences some other writers of the country like Nydia
Lamarque,
Maria
Elena Walsh, Maria DhialmaTiberti,
and Ines
Malinow.
In the year 1958, she
was given an award of the Grand Prize of Honor by SADE.
