Luisa Peluffo was born in Buenos Aires. In the year 1977, she went to San Carlos de Bariloche in the province of Río Negro, Argentina to reside. In the year 1988, she was handed a scholarship Creation in Narrative by the FondoNacional de lasArtes. In the year 2008, her novel called Nadiebaile el tango was given the award of the first prize for the unpublished novels given by the Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
