Hugo Mac Dougall was born with the name Hugo Mascias on the 9th December 1901; he died on the 15th May 1977 in Buenos Aires. He was an argentine writer, screenwriter and a journalist. He won the Silver Condor Award for the Best Original Screenplay for his work called Malamo at the 1943 Argentine Film Critics Association Awards. He became the winner of the same award in the following year for the script he co-authored with Rodolfo González Pacheco and EliseoMontaine called Tres hombres delrío.
