Life
Félix Luna was born in Buenos Aires to a family that is originally from
La Roja region of the country in the year 1925.
he got an admission to study at the University of Buenos Aires and he got
his degree in Law in the year 1951. He was published first in the year 1954,
with the biographical work called Yrigoyen. He was appointed to be the Director
of the Ministry of Labor’s Employee Benefit Plan in the year 1956. He got the
literary first prize in the year 1957 for his period tale called La fusilación.
Félix Luna was a professor of History of Institutions at his alma mater’s
law school from the year 1963 to the year 1976 and modern history professor at
the private University of Belgrano from the year 1967 to the year 1986. He kept
on with his writing as well; some of the popular works he did at the period areLos caudillos in the year 1966, El 45 in the year
1968 and many others.
Félix Luna worked with the pianist and composer
called Ariel Ramirez as a lyricist for a work that was best for the both men, MisaCriolla in the year 1964.
The joined progress of the work was followed by MujeresArgentinas in the year 1969.
As a historian, Félix Luna
sought to make the subject approachable to the people, as he contributed weekly
editorial on the current events in the field for the nation’s leading newspaper
called Clarin from the year 1964 to the year 1973.
He was the host of Hilandonuestrahistoria
from the year 1977 to the year 1982.
He was the founder of the Argentine monthly TodoesHistoria in the year
1967 and was the director of the popular publication until he died. He received
many Konex Awards. He was the secretary of culture for Buenos Aires from the
year 1986 to the year 1989 and was mentioned to be an illustrious citizen of
