Eduardo Gudiño Kieffer was born on the 2nd November 1935; he died on the 20th September 2002. He was an argentine writer. He was born in Esperanza, Santa Fe region of the country. He is related to the argentine painter called Sebastian Spreng from his mother’s side.

Eduardo Gudiño Kieffer was part of the Latin American literature boon in the 1960s. hwe graduated as a lawyer at the Universiadad del Litoral, though he never practiced the profession. Eduardo Gudiño Kieffer wrote novels, short stories and essays. He also wrote children’s books, scripts and theatre plays. He was also a journalist. Hi9s books have been translated to many languages like English language, French language, Portuguese language, Dutch language and Polish language, and many others.
Eduardo Gudiño Kieffer was part of the jury in many contests of literature of the country. His main theme is Buenos Aires and was named to be CiudadanoIlustre de la Ciudad of the city. Eduardo Gudiño Kieffer was married to Beatriz Trento and they had three children before they separated.
Eduardo Gudiño Kieffer died in Buenos Aires in the year 2002.
