Biography
Edgar Brau was born in Argentina. He put himself in various occupations;
he was an actor, a stage director, a painter of icon, and photographer, until
he completely focused on the writing of literature. The last two performances
of Edgar Brau as an actor and a stage director were A Season in Hell, by Arthur Rimbaud,
and Malditos,amovie he wrote
based on poems that were written by Gérard de Nerval, Charles Baudelaire, and
Rimbaud.
His debut book called
The Poem and Other Stories which was
published in the year 1992 was added by the UNESCO in its project for the
International Financing of Translation.
In the year 1995, Edgar Brau
published his first novel, which he called The Player. Between the year 1995
and the year 2000, he also published two book of poems, three short stories and
a novel.
His first collection
of works in the English language called Casablanca and Other Stories was released in United Stated by the
ending part of the year 2006. In January of the year 2007, Words Without
Borders from Chicago, United States released Woodstock, which is a long poem
that was written by Edgar Brau
based on the popular rock festival.
