César Aira was born on the 23rdfebruary 1949 in Coronel Pringles, region of Buenos Aires. He is an argentine writer and a translator. He is an exponent of the literature of the country.

César Aira has published more than 80 short books of stories, novels and essays. He was a lecturer on the course, Copi and AuthurRimbaiud at the University of Buenos Aires. He has also lectured on Constructivism and Stephane Mallarme at the University of Rosario. César Aira has translated and edited books from the France, England, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Mexico as well as Venezuela.
