Carlos Alfredo D'Amico was born on the 23rd March 1839 in Buenos Aires; he died on the 18th August 1917. He was an argentine lawyer, politician and a writer. He is best known for having been the governor of Buenos Aires between the year 1884 and the year 1887.

Education and Career
Carlos Alfredo D'Amico became a lawyer and started his political profession when he was still young, then he was a strong supporter of Adolfo Alsina and contributed to El Nacional. Before he became the governor of the region of Buenos Aires, he was the minister of the region and national representative and he was also an active Freemason.
In the year 1884, Carlos Alfredo D'Amico was elected to be the governor of Buenos Aires, succeeding Dardo Rocha in office with Matial Cardoso being the deputy governor of the region.
Carlos Alfredo D'Amico later travelled to Mexico and came back to the country in the year 1905. He died in the year 1917 in Buenos Aires.
