Alejandro Sokol was born on the 30th January 1960; he died on
the 12th January 2009. He was an argentine rock musician. He was
part of the Sumo and Las Pelotas.

Alejandro Sokol was a bassist and then the drummer of Sumo in the early
days of the group 1981 to 1984 and then he left them because of the rock and
roll pattern of life of the band group went against his convictions as he was a
part of the LDS Church.
After the death of
the leader of the group, Luca Prodan,.Alejandro
Sokol formed Las Pelotas alongside his fellow ex Sumo German Daffunchio. After
17 years with the band, he left them to form his own group called El Vuelto SA
and featured his son called ImaelSokol, NicolásAngiolini and Gustavo
Bustos (guitars), Sebastián Villegas (bass) and DamiánBustos (drums). Alejandro Sokol died in a bus depot in Rio
Cuarto, Cordoba region of the country of Cardio Respiratory failure, while
waiting for a bus to take him back to Buenos Aires from Traslasierra region,
where he went to visit his daughter and grandchildren.
