Nando Rafael was born on the 10th January 1984 in Luanda. He
is an Angolan-German football striker who is currently playing the role of a
striker for the club, Henan Jianye.

Ealry Life
Nando Rafael left the country at the age of 8 after his both parents has
been killed in the Angolan Civil War and resided illegally at first in
Netherlands. He never got a work permit and was not eligible to play football
as a profession and he left the country to another country.
Career
In the year 2002 Nando Rafael signed for Hertha BSC in Germany. In the
year 2006, he joined Borrussia Monchengladbach. His first season with the club
was spoilt by injury and he made less impact for the club. On the 10th
January 2010, he joined FC Augsburg on a loan deal to play for a season for the
club. On the 19th July 2010, Nando Rafael signed a two year deal
with FC Augsburg.
On the 27 June 2013, Nando Rafael joined Henan Jianye in the China League
One club and replaced Joel Tshibamba who was released by the club.
Nando Rafael got a citizenship of Germany and played for Germany at the
U-21 level.
He played his first match for the Angolan national team in the year 2012
and has played the total of 3 games for the country.
