Khaled Lemmouchia

Khaled Lemmouchia was born on the 6^th December 1981. He is an Algerian international footballer who is presently playing the role of a defensive midfielder.

Club Career

Khaled Lemmouchia was born in Givors, Rhone. He started his football career when he was 16 years, and that was when he joined the academy team of the club, Olympique Lyonnais, though he gained the attention of almost all the teams in the country. He worked his way into the reserve team of the club. His amateur deal with the club expired and he was not handed another contract by the contract and he had to sign with AS Moulins. After one year, he left the club to another amateur club in the country, AS Lyon Duchere and he spent the total of 4 seasons with the club. In the summer of the year 2006, he stopped to play for the club and signed his first professional contract with the club in his country, ES Setif. After joining the club in the summer of the year 2006, he quickly became a crucial member of the team. In his first season with the club, he led them to the league title and also the Arab Champions league title.

On the 29 July 2011, Khaled Lemmouchia signed a year deal with USM Alger. He played the total of 27 matches for the club and scored a goal as he assisted the club to finish in 3^rd place in the 2011/12 Ligue Professionnelle 1 season and gained a spot in the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup. On the 13the August 2012, Khaled Lemmouchia travelled to Tunis to negotiate a deal with the Tunisian club, Club Africain. He signed a year deal to play for the club.

International Career

When Khaled Lemmouchia was a youth footballer for Olympique Lyon, he was called up to play for the Under-17 French national team, but he declined the offer and wanted to play for the Algerian national team. He was called up to play with the U-20 Algerian national team in the year 2000 for the 2001 African Youth Championship qualifiers.  He played his first U-20 game for the country in the match that was played against Libya; the Algerian side won the match 1-0.

On the 6^th February 2009, Khaled Lemmouchia was called up by Saâdane to a training camp that was held in Paris, France to prepare for the FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. Khaled Lemmouchia started his senior international career for the Algerian national team away on the 31^st May 2008 as he started in the match that was played against Senegal in the first game of the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
