Ildefons Lima Solà was born on the 10th December 1979 in
Andorra le Vella. He is an Andorran international football player who is
currently playing the role of a central defender for the club, FC Andorra. He
is also a member of the Andorran national team.

Club Career
Ildefons Lima Solà’s first senior team season was with FC Andorra. He
played a season each with the club in the Spanish third and Fourth division. He
played in both levels again with RCD Espanol and Sant Andreu, as he split the
next season outside the country between the following teams, Ionikos FC of
Greece and CF Pachua of Mexico. In the
summer of the year 2002, Ildefons Lima Solà went back to Spain and played half
a season with UD Las Palmas in the second division. He left the club in January
of the year 2004 and joined another second division team, Polideportivo Ejido
and spent the next season with another club, Rayo Vallecano in the third
division.
From the year 2005 to
the year 2009, Ildefons Lima Solà
played the total of 89 matches for the club, US Triestina and had a goal to his
name for the club. He made a move to Bellinzona in the year 2009 and was with
the club for three seasons, playing the total of 43 matches for the club and
four goals to his name. He went back to Triestina in the year 2011 and had
another season with the club. He scored two goals for the club after playing
the total of 17 matches for them. He went back to the team he started with, FC
Andorra in the summer of the year 2012.
International Career
Ildefons Lima Solà played his first match for the Andorran national team
in the year 1997 at the age of 17. And since his debut in the year 1997, has
played the total of 81 matches for the country and has scored the total of 7
goals for the country. He is the highest goal scorer of the country with the
total of 7 goals.
He is the younger brother to Toni Lima Sola who is also a football player
and a defender, retired. Toni spent his entire career in the lower league of
Spain and they both shared a team at together at Ionikos.
