Hakim Medane was born on the 5th September 1944. He is a
former Algerian international football player. He is the current general
manager of JSM Bejaia.

Hakim Medane was born in El Harrach, Algiers. He started his football
career in the youth team of the club Hussein Dey. After spending two n seasons
with the club, he went on to join USM El Harrach and it was in the club that he
gained promotion to the senior tea of the club after a season. In the year
1987, he assisted the club to win the Algerian Cup as he scored the only goal
in the final that was played against JS Bordj Menaiel. In the year 1988, he
left the club to join JS Kabylie. It was with the club that he won the league
title in the first season with the club. He repeated that in the following
season as he also won the African Cup of Champions with the club after they
beat the Nkana Red Devils of Zambia in the final of the tournament.
In the year 1991, Hakim Medane joined the Portuguese club, F.C.
Famalicao. He spent three seasons with the club and left the club after the
club was relegated at the end of the 1993/94 season. In the year 1994, he went
to S.C. Salgueiros, where he spent a season before he went back to Famalicao.
After a season with the club, he went back to his country and joined JS KAbylie
for his second stint. He was the captain of the team that played in the 2000
CAF Cup title as his club beat Ismaily of Egypt in the final of the
competition. After the finals, he announced
his retirement.
International Career
On the 28th December 1984, at the age of 18, Hakim Medane
played his first match for the Algerian national team in the friendly match
that was played against Ghana.
He was part of the Algerian national team that played in the African Cup
of Nations in the following years; 1986, 1988, and the year 1992.
