Djamel Eddine Mesbah was born on the 9th October 1984 in Zighoud Youcef. He is an Algerian international football player. He is currently playing the role of a left back for the club, Livorno in the Serie A on a loan deal from Parma.
He was among the Algerian national team that played in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and in the 2013 African Cup of Nations both in South Africa.

Club Career
Djamel Eddine Mesbah started his football career in the junior ranks of the French club called US Annecy-le-Vieux before he was found by the scouts from the Swiss club, Servette FC in the year 2001. He passed through the ranks of the club and gained promotion to the senior team of the club I n the 2003/04 seasons Swiss Super league as he played the total of 11 matches for the club and scored 3 goals for them.
In the summer of the year 2004, he left the Swiss side as the club was passing through financial hardship and joined FC Basel. He was always used as a replacement in the team as he played the total of 11 matches for the club and scored just a goal. In the January transfer window of the year 2006, he was sent out on a loan to F.C. Lorient in the Ligue 2 at that time. He was injured before he could play his first match for the club and he never played any game for the club. In the summer of the year 2006, he signed for FC Aarau, a Swiss side that is playing in the second division. He was with the club for two seasons and started all the games he played for the club. He was then signed by FC Luzern on the 1st of July 2008, though he played just six games for the club for the entire year, all of which he was brought into the game as a sub.
On the 1st September 2008, he signed a deal with A.S. Avellino 1912, the first Italian club he played in his career.
In July 2009, he was signed by U.S. Leece. When he was at Lecce, he played most his game at the left side of the midfield, and sometimes at the central midfield or the Left sided wing back of the pitch. His ability to play in many sides of the pitch drew the attention of many other sides in the country.
On the 18th January 2012, his club announced that Djamel Eddine Mesbah will be leaving the club to A.C. Milan. The next day, Milan confirmed the purchase of the player on a 4 ½ year deal. He played his first match for the club on the 26th January 2012, as he started in the 2011/12 Coppa Itali8a quarter final match that was played against Lazio. He played the entire 90 minutes of the game and his club won the match 3-1. He scored his first goal for the club on the 20th March 2012 in the match that was played against Juventus and the match finished 2-2 draw in the Semi-finals of the 2011/12 Coppa Italia.
International Career
Djamel Eddine Mesbah was called up for the first time to the Algerian national team by the coach of the team, Rabah Saadane in May 2010 for a two-week training camp in Crans-Montana, Switzerland in preparation for the 2010 World Cup. Djamel Eddine Mesbah played his first match for the Algerian national team on the 28th May 2010 in the friendly match that was played against Republic of Ireland. He was added in the 23-man squad list for the World Cup in 2010.
