Abdelghani Zitouni was born on the 5th May 1932 in Algiers; he
died on the 17th November 2010 in Algiers. He was a former Algerian
international football player and manager.

Abdelghani Zitouni spent most of his playing career with the club, OMR El
Annasser after he kicked off his football career with RC Kouba. He was also
with MC Alger from the year 1953 to the year 1954. Abdelghani Zitouni also
played for CR Belouizdad.
Abdelghani Zitouni played his first match for the Algerian national team
on the 6th January 1963 in a match that finished 2-1 against
Bulgaria. It was a friendly match that was played at Stade 20 Aout in Algiers.
Abdelghani Zitouni scored a goal in the 72nd minute of the match and
that was his first and only goal for the Algerian national team.
He played his last official match for the Algerian national team in a
match that was lost 3-0 against Brazil in Oran.
Abdelghani Zitouni played the total of 6 matches for the Algerian national
team and scored just a goal for the country.
After his football
playing career, Zitouni coached some team in his country, most notably USM
Alger in the 1970s.
