Cadamuro-Bentaïba was born on the 5th March 1988. He is a
professional football player from Algeria. He plays the role of a right, left
back and a central defender for the club, RCD Mallorca, though he is currently
on loan in the club from Real Sociedad. He is a member of the Algerian national
team.

Club Career
When he was
15, Cadamuro joined the youth academy of FC Sochaux-Montbeliard and he was part
of the reserve team of the club for three seasons. In the summer of the year
2008, he made a move to Spain and made a deal with Real Sociedad. With the
Basque, he played another three year with the B-Team of the club, two years in
the 3rd division and one year in the 4th. He gained
promotion to the main squad of the club for the 2011/12 season with the arrival
of a countryman from his country, Philippe Montanier as the team manager. He
played his first La Liga game for the club on the 10th September
2011 coming in as a sub in the 70th minute of the game for Xabier
Prieto in the home match that finished 2-2 against Barcelona. He finished the
first season with the club’s first team, playing the total of 19 games for the
club and assisting the team to finish 12th in Position. On the 2nd
January 2013, he signed a contract5 with the club as an extension of the
current deal with the club.
On the 8th
January, 2014, after he had played sparingly at the time of his first season
with the club, Cadamuro joined RCD Mallorca on a loan contract until June.
International
Career
On the 7th
January, 2012, the coach of the Algerian national team, Vahid Halilhodzic was
in the position to supervise the player in a league match that was played
against CA Osasuna. A day after that match, in an interview with the French
Website, FootMercato.net, Cadamuro opined that his intention has always been to
play for the Algerian team in the international level, though he has the
options of playing for either Italy or France.
On the 10th
February 2012, it was announced by the official website of Real Sociedad that
the player has been selected by the coach of the Algerian national team to play
in the 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifying match that was played against
Gambia. After five days of the announcement, Algerian FA confirmed the
information and he played his first game for the Algerian national team on the
29th February, starting in the match that finished 2-1 against
Gambia.
