Habib Mohamed Bellaïd was born on the 28th March 1986. He is a
football player from algeria. He is presently playing the role of a centre back
for the club, MC Alger in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1. He is also a
member of the Algerian national team and was part of the national team that
played in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. As of June 2013, he has only
played a game for the national team of the country.

Habib was born in Bobigny,
France to a Tunisian father and Algerian mother.
Club Career
Mohamed began his
career with the playing of a local team called Red Star Saint-Ouen. In the year
1999, he was chosen to be part of the Clairefontaine academy. It was there that
he trained with Abou Diaby, Hatem Ben Arfa and Ricardo Faty, with his stint at
the club, he made a move to RC Strasbourg. He joined Strasbourg in the year
2002 and he attached himself with the youth academy of the club. He was part of
the club that made it to the finals of the Coupe Gambardella in the year 2003,
before they lost to Renne 4-1. He played his first professional game for the
club on the 9th November 2004 in Coupe de la Ligue match that was
played against Troyes AC, and he began the game in the left back part of the
pitch. his club won the match 3-1 and they finally went on to win the cup.
After that, he was
handed his promotion to the senior team of the club for the 2005/06 season. He
played his first match for the club on the 17th September 2005 in a
match that was played against RC Lens; he was brought into the match in the 70th
minute of the game and the game finished 1-1. He consistently played for the
team for the rest of the season. He scored his first goal for the club in the
UEFA Cup, in a match that was played against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, and
that has been the only goal he has scored for the club. Unfortunately for him,
his club finished 2nd from the bottom of the table after that
season. His attention the attention of several clubs like Real Madrid and Roma
after he made his return to the Ligue 1, though his club still suffered
relegation and that made him to start reasoning about his future with the club.
On the 4th
July 2008, it was publicized that Mohamed and his club, Strasbourg had agreed
on a move to German side, Eintracht Frankfurt. He signed a 4-year contract with
the club and the transfer fee was €2.5 million. He played his first match for
the club in the opening match of the season against Hertha Berlin and they lost
the match 2-0, he played the total of 21 matches for the club in the league
games.
On the 31st
august 2009, Mohamed left his club and went back to his former club, RC
Strasbourg on a loan deal until the end of the season.
After a half season
with his former club, the club loaned him out again to US Boulogne without
making any consultation to the rightful owner of the player, Eintracht
Frankfurt, though at the request of the player, his club approved the move.
International Career
Mohamed has been a
part of the French youth team since he was a child. He has played for the youth
team of the country starting from the U-15 national team of the country to the
U21 level of the French national team. He was eligible to play for three
countries; Tunisia, France and Algeria.
On the 4th
May 2010, he was given an invitation to the Algerian preliminary World cup 2010
team. He played his first match for the Algerian national team on the 28th
May 2010, as he started in the game that was played against the Republic of
Ireland, though he never played in the tournament.
