Shafid Mureed

Shafid Mureed is a musician and a music composer from Afghanistan. He was born in Kabul and he lived his whole life inside the country. Originally, he is from Laghman region of the country and he finished from the Ansari High school that is situated in Kabul. He desired to be a musician right from his early age, he learnt how to play the flute music instrument at the age of 1 and started playing the harmonica at the age of 15 and is noticed to have been singing among the classmates and friends while he was in school. He was hugely encouraged by his friends and he is a big fan of the classical music of his country and that of the Pakistan and India.

Mureed passed through the school of music in Kabul in the year 2006 and he composed his first popular music called Bewafa in the year 2007. The music was made popular all through the country within the first 6 months of his musical vocation. The focus of Shafid has always been on the quality of the music lyrics that he is writing, the music and the compositions and the quality of the music is more important to him than the quantity of the music he is producing. He believes that music possess four crucial factors that should always be considered by the modern day musicians, and they are; the lyrics of the music, the composition, the music and also the vocals, and if any of these factors does not have the best quality, the music entirely will be negatively affected. Mureed is believed to be a pack of talent in the music of the country. He has been seen in various schools of music of the country, helping the young students and children. Mureed is one of the founders that manufactured the green environment campaign in 2007 and as well producing music video on the protection of the environment.

He is built with natural voice and makes his music with high feelings, passion and great expression and with the highest attractive and mostly enough feeling and the voice of emotion and he has his own special way of singing his music. Mureed has released about three albums and about twelve music videos since the beginning of his music career.

Ehsas, which was released in the year 2008, was a bit hit album that has 11 music. Hasti, which was released in the year 2010, is one of the hit albums; it is made up of 10 music. De Afghanistan Mureed, which was released in the year 2012, is the album that was particularly worked on so as to circulate good and positive information all through the country and the album was made to encourage the people of the country toward a great and stable nation. Each of the music in the album has a message it is passing to the people, example, Peace, The National Army of the Country, The National Unity, The National police of the country, Environmental Safety of the country, Education, Sports and Rehabilitation, etc.

Mureed got an award from the president of the country, Hamid Karzai in the year 2012 for his music album that was devoted to the country. He has given about 8 VIP concerts for the governmental organizations and the private organizations that include a concert for the National Army of the country at the KMTC, and other four big concerts for the public in Kabul, Jalalabad and Balkh. The concert of Jalalabad was arranged on the 7^th November, 2011 Eid-ulAldha, having approximately 17 thousand spectators participating. Two music concerts in Kabul on the 16^th March, 2012 held in the Babur Gardens for the celebration of the New Year and the International Day for Women, for the women of the country in the great city of Kabul with close to 13 thousand spectators participating and a concert for the orphan in the city of Kabul on the 6^th July, 2012. The concert of Balkkh took place on the 30^th March, 2012, the concert of Mizmar e Sharif City took place on the 30^th of March with about 6 thousand participants witnessing the event. Mureed is the most popular and fam,ous music player in the country today that gets more appreciation and love from all the subcontinent. He has huge base of fans in the country, in Pakistan, in the United States, in Tajikistan, in India and some other countries where the people of the country can be found.
