Sandjar Ahmadi is a footballer from Afghanistan and is currently playing football for Mumbai F. C and he is also playing for the national team of the country. He scored twice against Sri Lanka in the 2011 SAFF Championship that assisted the national team of the country to a 3-1 win. At 21 years, Sandjar became one of the best footballers of the national team. Sandjar scored the winning goal against Laos in the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers. He scored against Pakistan in a friendly match that was played in august 2013. Also he scored the winning goal for the country against Nepal in the 2-013 SAFF championship and that took the country to the finals. He scored the winning goal against the indian national team in the finals and that got the afghans the first FIFA tournament win. The afghan national team was also given $50,000 USD for being the champions.

Sandjar was born in Kabul, and then together with his family he relocated to Germany and he is currently livin g in Hamburg. He was just seven years when he began playing football. Currently, he is playing football for both his country and his club on the international scene.

Sandjar has scored twice in 9 matches for the club side in I-League.
