Rudi Veta was born on the 13th February
1969 in Shkoder. He is a former football player from Albania. He played the
role of a defender for his club and he is the current coach of KS Vllaznia
Shkoder.

Veta’s career in the western football started in
France in the year 1991, when he claimed political asylum after an
international match. He played football for Le Mans Union Club 72 and Tour FC
before he moved on to play for Celtic between January 1993 and 1995/96 season.
He became the first person from his country to win a mojor trophy from an
European country as he won 1995 Scottish FA cup with the club he played with,
Celtic.
Veta made a move to play for Apollon Limassol in the
1996/97 season, Energie Cotbus from the year 1998 to the year 2001, Rot-Weib
Ahlen from January to the year 2002 and then Sk Tirana from the year 2002 to
the year 2003. This was followed by a move to Japan, when he signed for St.
Johnstone F.C. in the year 2004. He retired from active football in the year
2005 after a little stay with Partizani Tirana.
He played the total of 58 games and scored 5 goals
for the national team of his country.
Since he stopped playing football, he became a
sports agent and he is good in European football and facilitation of transfer
of players.
Early Life
Veta was born in the northern city of Shkoder and he
joined the local club side Vllaznia Shkoder as a teenager. He played his first
game for the club in the year 1988. When he traveled to France with the
Under-21 national team of the country in the year 1991, he sought political
asylum.
Veta is married to Anne Frances who is from Wishaw, Lanarkshire in Scotland. He met her when he playing at Celtic.
They both have two sons and they were born in Scotland.
