Mohammad Salim Israfeel Kohistani

Mohammad Salim Israfeel Kohistani was born on the 5^th June, 1987. He ia an afghan footballer that is presently playing for Vejle Boldklub Kolding. He is a member of the national team of the country and the captain of the team. He wears the number 7 shirt of the country jersey. He played in the 2010 world cup qualifiers and the 2014 world cup qualifiers. He originated from the north-eastern region of Kapisa and he is one of the most capped players of the country, together with Zohib Islam Amiri abd Faisal Sakhizada.

Club Career

In the year 2000, Israfeel began playing football at the Habibia high school team, amnd he did that until the year 2003. In the year 2004, he was given the opportunity to play in the first league at the Habibiana football team and later he moved to the Army FC, and here he played for three years. In the year 2007 he moved from Army FC to Kabul Bank FC. In the three year that he played for the club side was the Vice-champion of the national ligue and the champion of all the cups in Afghanistan. Kingfisher East Bengal FC have demanded that he play for them, but Israfeel did not grant the request.

International Career

Israfeel  has played for Afghanistan in nearly all the youth team. He became a member of the Afghanistan senior team in the year 2005. He represented the country in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the year 2010, and they were eliminated by Syria in the year 2007. He scored a goal for the country in the Tau Devi Lal Stadium aand that led to the 2-0 win over Bhutan in the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers. The second goasl of the game was scored by Waheed Nadeem.
