Përnaska is a product of the popular Dinamo academy and in the year 1967, he was promoted to the senior team of the club by Skender Jareci together with Faruk Sejdini, he was 16 then and was not a regular starter for the club. On his first game for the club, in the match that was played against Traktori Lushnja, Përnaska assisted his club in winning the game 3-1. He scored two goals in his professional football at the age of 16.
He was a member of the Golden Age of the club, Dinamo between the year 1971 to the year 1981, where under the leadership of Jareci Skender, the club ruled the football of the country winning 5 Albanian superliga trophies and 3 Albanian Cups. Përnaska fashioned a successful offensive partnership Vasillaq Zëri and Shyqyri Ballgjini that is said to be the best offensive trio in the history of the club football. He was crowned the top goal scorer in the super league for complete 6 seasons between the year 1971 to the year 1977, becoming the second most frequent winner of the Golden Boot of the superliga, behind the striker of Partizani Tirana, Refik Resmja, even though he is the player that has the top goal scorer more than any other player in the history of superliga as Resmja was a partner striker in 1955 and 1959.
He retired from international football in the year 1981 at the age of 30 after 14 years pf playing for Dinamo where he bagged 136 goals for the club and dropped a mark in the history of the club and the history of the country’s football. Upon retirement from playing football, he got a letter from the Stalinist dictator Enver Hoxha together with a pair of shorts that the footballer himself found to be a funny act for the state.
Personal Life
Përnaska was born in Tirane, his father Jonuz Korca was from the souther province of Korce and his mother was from Kellezi clan of Tirane, his last name was given to him over time. He relocated to Ascoli Piceno, Italy in the year 1992; it was there that he lived with his wife and two daughters.
