San
Marino is a small and olden country situated within the region of Italy;
however it is an independent state. The country and the culture are now
attracting tourist, however its musical tradition is long and different. During
in the 17th century, composers such as Francesco Maria de Pesaro
wrote some of the premium pieces of the period. The well-known 20th
century Sammarinese composer emerged to be known as Cesare Franchini Tassini
from the year 1925 to 2010.

Since
the year 1894, a wordless composition written by Federico Consolo has been the
national Anthem of San Marino. The piece is based on the 10th
century vocal arrangement. The former anthem was written by Aur. Muccioli and
U. Balsimelli and is like to the Italian national anthem.
The
current military forces of San Marino match through the streets in full uniform
many times a day, followed by the beats of the military ensemble.
