Farid Rastagar was born on the
26th March 1963. Farid is a native of Panjshir.
He is a singer, music arranger as well as composer.
He is one of the 80s period musicians who jet to popularity as pop music
of Afghanistan was getting to its peak of maturity. His early musical albums became extremely efficacious because of the
intense detail he offered to the background music
all of which was organized, composed and sang by himself. Presently, he carries
on manufacturing his music from Hamburg
in Germany,
which is his home since he relocated from his country Afghanistan, frequently
playing in different cities in Europe.
