Faisal Safa Sakhizada

Faisal Safa Sakhizada was born on the 15^th June, 1990. He is a footballer from Afghanistan that is currently playing for Dandenong Thunder SC, a football club in Afghanistan. He is also a member of the Afghanistan national team.  And he has made 12 appearances for the country. He puts on the number 4 shirt and plays the role of a centre back on the pitch. He participated in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers and in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He is seen as a one of the best performing footballers from Afghanistan and has been to several countries to widen his career and experience. Currently he is planning on keeping on to his dream as a footballer.

Club Career

Faisal played for his country in the year 2004 and played football for Pamir F.C, until the year 2007. In the year 2007, he was given the chance to play in the first league at the Kam Air F.C and latewr after then, he moved to the Ordu F.C, and here he is playing till today. In these years, the club was the vice champion of the national league and the champion of all Afghanistan cups. His vision of the game and his ability to play good football inspired several teams in the I-League to sign him to their club. A football club from Iran has requested that he should come and play for them but Faisal rejected the proposal.

 International Career

Faisal has played for his country in nearly every youth team. He became a member of the senior team of the country in the year 2010. Faisal played thrice in the SAFF Cup, he played twice in the AFC Challenge Cup and he played twice in the South Asian games. He also played with the national team of the country in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the year 2010.
