Ervin Skela

Ervin Skela was born on the 17th November 1976 in Vlore. He is a footballer from Albania. He is currently playingFC Hanau 93 in the Kreisoberliga Hanau, the 8th tier of the football of Germany. He played most of his football career in gemrnay, though he played in his country and also in Italy and Poland briefly. He is the 3rd most appeared player in the national team of his country. He has played 75 matches for the country and he is the 3rd highest goal scorer in the history of the country’s football with the total of 13 goals.

Club Career

Skela began his football career in his country, Albania as a teenager.he began his professional football career with the local team that is in his hometown KS Flamurtari Vlorë, which was the best club in the country at that time. He was with the club for three years, 1992 to the year 1995, at the time he was with the club, he was loaned to KF Tirana in the year 1993, though he went back soon after. 

After three years of playing professional football in his country, he made his mind up to widen his football experience and then he made a move to germany to play for the club, Union Berlin. After he had spent 3 years at the Berlin club, where he played 57 games for the club and scored the total of 8 goals for the club, he made a move to FC Erzgebirge Aue in the year 1997. In the two seasons he was with the club, he played 47 games for the club and scored 7 goals for them. In the year 1999, he transferred to Chemnitzer FC, it was there that he played 50 games for the club and scored 11 goals for them. In the January of the year 2000, he moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim, after half season in the club, where he played 15 games, he went to Eintracht Frankfurt. He spent three year there and played 92 games for the club. He scored the total of 26 goals for the club. Skela made his next move to DSC Arminia Bielefeld, where he played 35 games for the club for a season. He joined 1.FC Kaiserslautern in the year 2005. In his one season with the club, he played 34 games and scored 4 goals for the club. He made a transfer to the Italian club Ascoli Calcio in the year 1898 on a free transfer.

He signed a year deal with the Italian club and played his first match for the club on the 9th September 2006. Meanwhile, Skela did not breakthrough into the starting 11 of the team and was released for free later. In his spell in the Italian club, he played the total of 7 matches and scored a goal for the club. In the 2007 January transfer period, he went back to Germany on the 29th January 2007, with Energie Cottbus on a 2 ½ year deal. He became a favorite player of the club when he was there and in the 2007/08 season, he played 34 games for the club and scored 7 goals, and at the end of his stay in the club, he played the total of 137 matches for the club and scored the total of 21 goals for the club.

After 4 month without being signed by another club, he joined TuS Koblenz on a three-year deal on the 14th October 2009.

On the 1st February 2011, Skela made a move to FC Germania Windeck and in March of that same yearhe left his current club and joined Arka Gdynia. After he had played for the club for Arka Gdynia in the year 2001, Skela came out of retirement and signed a deal with 8th tier German club called FC Hanau 93 on the 29th January 2014 at the age of 37.

International Career

Ervin skela became a member of the Albanian national team in the year 2000, and since then he has played the total of 75 matches for the country and has scored 13 goals for the club. He showed himself to the team for several years and is one of the most crucial players in the country.
