Dodë Tahiri was born on the 27th November 1918 and he died on
the 28th May 1988. He was a footballer from Albania. He played the
role of a goalkeeper for the national team of the country and he was the first
goalkeeper of the country in the match that was played against Yugoslavia in
the year 1946.

He played just two
games for the national team of the country, both in the year 1946 in Tirana in
the 1946 Balkan Cup and the second in that match that was played against
Bulgaria.
At the club level, he
played for KS Vllaznia Shkodër in his country and in Yugoslavia with ASK Obilic
from the 1930s to the 1950s. After the
World War II he played football for Vllaznia and won the Albanian championship
with the club in the year 1945 and 1946. In the 1946/47 and the 1948/49
seasons, he played for FK Budućnost Titograd in the Yugoslav First League.
