Bucovina is a local region, and its customs include some of the very olden Romanian instruments, including the tilinca and the cobza. Pipes (fluieras or fluier mara) are also played, frequently with accompaniment by a cobza (more presently, the accordion). Violins and brass instruments have been imported in current periods.
