Ali Asker Lali is was
a footballer and trainer from Afghanistan. In the year 1981, he arrived in
Germany as a refugee and he lived in Paderborn for several years. Currently he
is living in Germany and Afghanistan.
As a coach, Ali is
presently taking part in a project of the Foreign Office to promote the female
football of the country and he trained the women’s national team of the
country.
National Career
Ali was a member of
the Afghan Under-20 football team of the country at the 1977 AFC Youth
Championship that was hosted by Iran. At the senior level, Ali took part in the
1976 Qaed-e Azam International Football Tournament that was hosted by Pakistan
and also in the 1980 Olympic Games Qualifiers.
