The official Mozambican single chart was initiated in 1971 and the first number one was Sada Voo by Dededede and the first number one album was the Sann Sann Sann by Mini Nini Onini, the first number one single by non-Mozambican musician was, I’d like to teach the world to sing (in perfect harmony) by the new seekers and imagine is the first non-Mozambica number one album produced by John Lennon. The recent number one is known as City likes This (Olympics remix) by Marlon Roudette and the recent number one album is known as run wild by MaputoGangstazz.
