Most
of the customs have existed quite independently in French West Africa but have
begun to make a combination of patterns since the 1960s. The renowned Niger’s
music had little international interest (in comparison with the music of
neighbors Nigeria or Mali), the folk and modern musical patterns have flourish
since the end of 1980s.
