The carinosa (refers as loving or affectionate one), is a Philippine national dance from the Maria clara suite of Philippine traditional dances, where the fan and the handkerchief plays an instrument role as it keeps the couple in romances state. The dance is similar to the Jarabe Tapatio. The Carinosa is followed with Hispanic music and language. This is also linked to Kuracha, Kuradang and Amenudo in the Visayas and Mindanao region.
