The Neue Deutsche Harte (engl. New German Hardness) is a term for extremely famous German wave of industrial metal. It mixes the common sound of metal with the electronic samples and is mainly sung with German lyrics. It draws its spectator from both the metal-heads and goth scene. Some bands such as Oomph or Rammstein have gained mainstream success. Other popular musicians include Megaherz, Unheilig, Stahlhammer (from Austria), Joachim Witt, Eisbrecher and Tanzwut.
