The rakatak is a percussion musical instrument that came from hi Ghana. The musical instrument is made of many calabash gourd shell affixed to a long, narrow wooden shaft that is joined to a longer main wooden handle at an angle of 90 degree. The musical instrument is usually seen in the traditional African or neo-pagan music.
