The muchosa is a kind of bagpipe that is currently played mainly in Hainaut, Wallonia Belgium. This musical instrument was previously known down into the north of France as far as Picardy.

The muchosa has a chanter with a conical bore together with double reed that is pitched to B-flat. It possesses two single-reeded drones. The treble drone of this musical instrument is placed in a common stock together with the chanter and also the bass drone is placed back in its own stock. In this sense, this musical instrument has the same similarities with other bagpipes in central and northern France.
