The kongtoch is a smaller gong circle that has close similarities with the larger relative which is the kongthom that is used in the pinpeat group. This musical instrument shows in large ensemble and plays a part similar to that of the roneatdek; the small xylophone. Kongtoch is similar to the khongwonglek that is found in Thailand.
