The gunjac is a violin cello-like Croatian musical instrument that has only two strings. The players of the musical instrument are called ‘bajsisti. The musical instrument is a double string instrument performed with the use of a bow.
The gunjac is commonly found in melodic groupings linked with the North-western and the central Croatia including the province of Zagreb, Biolgoro, Pokpije, Upper Posavina and Mosavina.
