Bermuda which has the strongest Irish and Scottish tradition presence and its
home is popular as the bagpipe groups that draw on those traditions, as
especially the Bermuda Island Pipe Brand. The Bagpipe tradition came to Bermuda
by Irish and Scottish soldiers from the 18th and 20th
centuries.

They
are several unrelated until the recent two major bagpipe groups in Bermuda,
which are the Bermuda Pipe group and the Bermuda Police Pipe group. The both
bands were formed in the year 1955 and separated in 1992, at the same year the
Bermuda Islands Pipe Band was formed. Other historically significant of bagpipe
groups which include the Salvation Army Young People’s group which were traced
from the 1930’s.
